"This is one of my favorite businesses of any type anywhere! You will never find a more helpful staff that with at least one expert onsite for any job. I have never had a question they couldn't answer. They always go above and beyond to make sure they are giving me the best support they can. And their prices are great, very comparable to the big chains, if not better."

"I've been a Koontz customer for 10 years, and I have never been disappointed with their selection. On my most recent visit, the store had a selection of water pumps unmatched by larger stores such as Home Depot (we went to two of them, but had no luck). In addition to the great inventory, they can special order anything you need (we ordered knobs and handles for our built-ins at Koontz, and the process was really easy).
Koontz also has the most knowledgeable staff I've ever seen in a hardware store. Not only do they know general things, they're acquainted with the products they sell.
Koontz also has great kitchen and bath items. All in all, this is simply a fabulous store."

"The parking is a huge plus- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Someone even gave me some free wood scraps to use as shims rather than charging me. I would go back here again in a heartbeat, and it's almost worth the trip regardless of where you are."

"I've been coming here for over 30 years and was surprised today to notice an obvious lack of new stock on the shelves. I hope they maintain the same level of customer service because honestly it is the reason they have been successful for so long. Someone is always eager to help you, in every department, and never even waits for you to ask. They are proactively interested in making sure you get what you came in for, and will send you to the right other place if they don't have it. The sisters up front at the register are amazing. Housewares attendants are top notch. I pray they stay the same. It may be slightly more expensive than the big box stores but the time you save and the knowledge they pass on to you are priceless. Go here first. You won't be disappointed."

"I needed a couple of keys made, and they were close to my other stop. The staff member took my key and quickly made the keys. The check out was easy , their register accepted inputs from my phone. It would be easy to say this a typical hardware store but it isn't. There is parking off the street although i didn't need it so i can not comment on that. The aisles are close together and run floor to ceiling and the shelves are fully stocked. The workers were very helpful and available to offer assistance. Yes I will return here for my hardware needs because i feel they will have them in stock."
